The FEI Awards honour everyone who make our sport happen and this has been shown time and time again in the thousands of nominations we have received since the FEI Awards were launched in 2009. So, please take a few minutes to think about who you want to shine a light on for their achievements this year – at a Championship, the Children’s Classics Final, the FEI World Equestrian Games™, the Asian Games, the FEI World Jumping Challenge Final, Nations Cups, World Cups and so many more to choose from… Who stood out? Who went the extra mile? Who did the unthinkable? By nominating them, you back them up and celebrate their accomplishments.
The nomination phase closes in one week on 25 September and you can nominate as many people as you want and in different categories at different times so please make sure YOU have your say!
You may recall that in 2017 we came up with a new process and introduced the online public vote on fei.org. This new voting system based 50% on the public vote and 50% on the judges' panel was hugely successful, and we received over 100,000 votes as a result. This year the public vote runs from 5-15 October (worth 50%) and will also be presented to an exclusive panel of judges (worth 50%). The winners will be announced and celebrated at the FEI Awards Gala in Manama (BRN) on 20 November. You will find a detailed timeline as well as details on all the previous winners here.
Remember, it is in your interest to put forward people and/or organisations you believe have achieved great things over the year, and by nominating them you will give them a chance to be shortlisted and even possibly win – both of which will hugely increase their visibility and exposure to the public.
